数年前,法国国家电视台播放了一部电视剧。第二天,各地的唱片商店热闹非凡,人们争先恐后地要求订购“昨晚的电视剧插曲”。而电视台也接到观众连续不断的电话询问,为了回答观众这同一个问题,不得不设置了电话专用线路。唱片公司急急忙忙录制了八十万张唱片,一经上柜立即被抢购一空,这首曲子就是由理查·克莱德曼(Richard Clayderman)演奏的《阿德丽娜叙事曲》。就这样,理查·克莱德曼一夜之间变为明星,成了法国家喻户晓最红的通俗音乐钢琴家。克莱德曼自己也难以相信竟然获得了意想不到的成功。他解释说:“为什么我们的曲子如此受欢迎?可能是由于人们对摇滚乐已经听厌了,而对幽静的旋律怀有憧憬之故吧。”
A few years ago, the French state television broadcast a drama. The next day, record stores around the crowded, people scrambling to order “last night’s episode of the TV series.” The television station also received continuous telephone inquiries from the audience, in order to answer the audience the same question, had to set up telephone lines. The record label hurriedly recorded 800,000 albums and was snapped up as soon as the overcooket was released. The song was “Adrina’s Narrative,” by Richard Clayderman. In this way, Richard Clayderman became a star overnight, becoming the most popular popular music pianist in France. Clayderman himself could hardly believe that he had unexpectedly succeeded. He explained: “Why is our song so popular? Probably because people are tired of rock and roll and have a longing for the quiet melody.”
