“熊山岩体”为笔者首称的一个新的地质岩体。本文着重总结了该岩体的基本特征—地质、岩石、岩石化学、微量元素、副矿物、蚀变(或自变质)作用特征。初步讨论了岩体的成因问题,并推断该岩体是由苦橄岩或富辉橄玄岩岩浆经过结晶分异作用后侵入浅成的产物,侵入时代属加里东期,控岩断裂(政和—大埔断裂北段)已经切穿地壳底层进入上地幔。
“Bear Mountain Rock Mass” is the author’s first name of a new geological rock mass. This paper summarizes the basic characteristics of the rock mass: geology, rock, petrochemistry, trace elements, paracular minerals, altered (or self-metamorphic) features. The genesis of the rock body is discussed preliminarily and it is inferred that the rock body is a product of intrusion into the magma after the crystallization differentiation of picritite or Fuhui Oxygenate magma. The intrusive age belongs to the Caledonian period and the controlled rock fracture - North Section of Tai Po Fault) has penetrated the bottom of the crust into the upper mantle.
