近由南开大学出版社郑重推出一部《日本史》。该书由亚洲史、日本史前辈学者吴廷缪主编,南开大学历史研究所日本史研究室和辽宁大学日本研究所十多位专家、学者撰写。全书分三卷,100多万字,为我国出版的日本史力作。该书有以下几大特点: 第一,以历史唯物主义为指导。例如,关于日本锁国后果问题,论者见解不一,该书认为,锁国是历史的必然。不锁国便很难维持封建自然经济的基础和不受殖民主义的侵略。锁国延缓了日本资本主义的发生,使日本的近代化比西方推迟了二百多年,明治维新不得不披着“尊王攘夷”的袍笏登场,日本资本主义制度也就无法摆脱封建残余的长期困扰。关于日本文艺复兴问题,该书指出,德川中期尽管出现与西方文艺复兴时代类似的现象,但当时日本资本主义萌芽不成热,市民阶级还没有力量。即使出现古典文化探求和市民文艺发达等现象,也是为了满足豪商的享乐欲望。所以“朝气蓬勃的欧洲文艺复兴运动不能见于后进国的日本,决不是偶然的”。 Nearly by Nankai University Press solemn launch of a “history of Japan.” The book by the Asian history, Japan’s predecessor scholar Wu Tingmiao edited, Institute of History, Nankai University, Japan Institute of history and Liaoning University, Japan Institute of dozens of experts and scholars to write.
