The existence of natural fractures in carbonate reservoirs is favorable for the acid liquid to dissolve out a good flow channel. The breakthrough depth and the erosion strength of the acid solution are better than those of ordinary carbonate strata. The process increases the efficiency of acidification operations and enables the recovery of unobservable crude oil buried in the dead zone. In order to improve the acidification effect of natural fractured carbonate reservoirs, the authors of this study have developed a computer model to predict the acid displacement and acidification of this reservoir acidification operation. The research project belongs to a subproject of the IWP Research Program undertaken by the University of Texas Petroleum and Geological Engineering Research Center. This article introduces the field research of computer models and details the computer model
