In order to summarize the experiences and lessons learned in the study of Taiwanese literature in the Mainland over the past 30 years since the reform and opening up, especially the study of new poetry, we need to have two frames of reference: one is its own reference, that is, what is the comparison between the study of Taiwanese poetry on the mainland and the study of mainland new poetry? Characteristics and lack of it; secondly, what special experiences and achievements have been made in the study of Taiwanese new poetry on the Mainland in comparison with the study of Taiwanese poetry in Taiwan as compared with the study of Taiwanese poetry in Taiwan? The latter reference is even more important because mainland scholars can not do without the development of Taiwan’s political literature, the trend of literature and the reinforcement of their own research results, both of which are mutually stirring and mutually stimulating
