Objective To investigate the blood lipid status and its influencing factors of logging workers exposed to occupational exposure to ionizing radiation. Methods A total of 143 well-logging workers from a company in Xinxiang City were selected as the contact group, and 249 medical staff from a certain company into the factory as the control group. The blood lipids routine tests and demographic characteristics and smoking, drinking lifestyle questionnaire. Results χ ~ 2 test showed that the rate of dyslipidemia in the exposure group was 94.6%, which was significantly higher than that in the control group (4.4%) (P <0.01). Logistic regression analysis found that well logging [OR = 356.95 (95% CI: 91.50-1392.53, P <0.01] and men (OR = 7.16, 95% CI: 1.69 ~ 30.35), P <0.01] was a risk factor for dyslipidemia. Conclusion The abnormal rate of dyslipidemia in well logging radiologists is higher than that in the former medical examiner. Radiation assignment may affect the rate of dyslipidemia.
