本文对当前艺术界甚至文化界内日益明显的民族主义现象作了某种揭示及探讨。文化本身却是客观的,但狭隘的民族自尊心已经影响到我们对文化现象作出的判断。宗派民族主义在今天的中国艺术界内却时有发生,某些传统或主流艺术门类的拥护者及从事者对中国现代艺术的诋毁,比如“福娃现象”。在艺术批评的过程,狭隘的民族主义只会使我们丧失理性判断的能力,并主动割断我们同他民族进行文化交流的渠道。因此应该警惕狭隘的民族主义尤其是“宗派民族主义”者,但同时也不能漠视全盘西化或某些文化侵略现象。因此,在艺术批评的过程中要抛弃各种主观色彩,实事求是。
This article makes some kind of revelation and discussion on the increasingly obvious phenomenon of nationalism in the current art world and even in the cultural world. Culture itself is objective, but narrow national self-esteem has affected our judgment of cultural phenomena. Sectarian nationalism has taken place in today’s Chinese art scene. Some traditional or mainstream art advocates and practitioners vilify China’s modern art, such as the “Fuwa phenomenon.” In the process of artistic criticism, narrow nationalism will only deprive us of our ability to make rational judgments and sever the channels through which we have cultural exchanges with other ethnic groups. Therefore, we should guard against narrow nationalism, especially “sectarian nationalism,” but at the same time we must not ignore the phenomenon of generalized Westernization or some cultural aggression. Therefore, in the process of artistic criticism, we should abandon various subjective colors and seek truth from facts.
