检务督察制度作为一种内部监督制约机制,对推动检察机关业务建设和队伍建设,提升检察机关形象起着积极的促进作用。但同时作为一种新的制度,在推行过程中还存在着思想认识不到位、机构设置不合理、内容比较单薄、效果不佳等问题,需要明确检务督察负责部门、合理确定督察范围和内容、督察形式多样化、提高检务督察威慑力,在实践中不断地加以改进,以发挥其最大的效能。
