套种是我区玉米的主要种植方式,及时有效地防治玉米苗期虫害,确保苗全苗壮,是夺取套种玉米丰收的关键一环。多年来为了控制玉米苗期虫害,多是采用麦前全田喷药,麦后补治的方法,因而出现了田间施药次数多、农药残留量高、环境污染重、天敌杀伤量大等一系列弊病。我县自1986年至1987年进行了玉米种子包衣新技术的试验及开发应用,收到了良好的效果。现将试验应用效果报告如下: 一、玉米种子包衣防治害虫的效果 1.田间试验效果:1986年采用市农科所提供的种衣剂1号作试验药剂,试验共设3个处理,分别以种子量的7%、8%进行种子包衣,不包衣的为对照,小区面积0.1亩,重复3次,试验点设在毕郭镇大霞坞村。其结果见表1:
