甜、西瓜地膜栽培,是甜、西瓜栽培的一种新方式。多年实践表明,地膜能提高地温,减少土壤水分蒸发,改善土壤理化性状,降低土壤表层盐分积累,减轻杂草及地下害虫危害,从而提高瓜田保苗率,促进甜、西瓜植株的生长发育,提高单产,促瓜早熟,是一种投资少、收效快、收益高的栽培措施。目前,它的优越性已逐渐为广大群众所认识,地膜栽培瓜田面积逐年扩大。为了进一步提高甜、西瓜地膜栽培的效果,根据各地实践经验以及1982年7月在石河子召开的瓜菜地膜栽培座谈会讨论的意见,特对甜、西瓜地膜栽培技术要点整理如下。
