资本主义文化霸权是西方马克思主义关注的中心问题之一,西方学界的媒介文化研究正是这种关注的体现。除了对媒介文化及其相关的资本主义文化霸权的批判之外,近年来的媒介受众研究也十分关注大众的文化反抗问题。本文主要考察媒介反抗的相关论述,并着重从主体性的角度对其进行批判,认为媒介反抗暗含后结构主义的主体观念,由于忽视主体同一性和大众的共同意识问题,因此在实践方面效果十分有限,也很难在实质上有助于改变资本主义的文化霸权。
The cultural hegemony of capitalism is one of the central issues that Western Marxism pays close attention to. The study of media culture in the western academic circles is just such a manifestation of this concern. In addition to criticizing the media culture and its associated capitalist cultural hegemony, the research on media audiences in recent years is also very much concerned with the mass cultural resistance. This paper mainly reviews the related discourses of media resistance and focuses on its criticism from the perspective of subjectivity. It argues that the media’s opposition to post-structuralism’s subjective concepts is negligible in the sense of subjectivity and mass common sense, Limited and difficult to essentially help to change the cultural hegemony of capitalism.
