美国著名诗人、翻译家肯尼斯·雷克思罗斯热爱、推崇中国“婉约派”词宗李清照,这缘于他的诗学审美偏向与人生际遇。他译介的李清照诗词对译语读者具有极强的情感感染力,译文的“时效性”解读增添了大量色情意蓄,迎合了读者的期待。从某种意义上讲,这丰富了译文的多样态存在。而且,雷克思罗斯的诗歌中融合了大量李清照诗词的创作手法。因此,通过雷克思罗斯,李清照及其词作在美国得以复活与新生,缔结了一段美国诗人与中国词宗的诗歌因缘。
The famous American poet and translator, Kenneth Rexroth, loves and admires Li Qingzhao, a Chinese poet of “graceful school”, due to his poetic aesthetic preference and life experience. His translation of Li Qingzhao’s poems has a strong emotional appeal to the target language readers. The “timeliness” interpretation of the translation adds a great deal of eroticism to the readers’ expectations. In a sense, this enriches the variety of translations. Moreover, Lexus’s poem incorporates a large number of creative techniques of Li Qingzhao’s poems. Therefore, through the revival and reincarnation of Lexolph, Li Qingzhao and his Ci in the United States, we conclude a poetic connection between American poets and Chinese Ci-sons.
