Compared with the teaching of other disciplines, Chinese language teaching has both its commonality and its uniqueness. In the ”Chinese Syllabus for Middle Schools,“ it states: ”Chinese is the basic tool for learning and work.“ and said: ”Language Discipline is the basis for learning other disciplines.“ The nature of the Chinese language discipline determines that students learn from this subject differently than other disciplines. Mr. Zhang Xiong had made such an explanation in his talk about the cultivation of middle school students’ language ability: ”All the cultural disciplines are ‘teaching’ and then’ ‘hui’.
