斯里兰卡,原称锡兰,位于亚洲南部,与印度半岛相望,是南亚次大陆南端印度洋上的一个岛国。斯里兰卡僧伽罗语意为“光明富饶的乐土”。
Sri Lanka, formerly known as Ceylon, is located in southern Asia and across the Indian Peninsula. It is an island nation on the southern Indian Ocean in the southern subcontinent. Sri Lankan Sinhala means “bright and rich paradise.”
