自从微处理器问世以来,各种型号的通用微型机系统已经得到很大发展。但是,各个用户为了更好地解决自己的特殊l’q题,往往不使用通用机而自行设计系统。具体方式可采用下面两种: (1)以元件级组成专用系统,即自选cPu、RAM、ROM及1/0接口等电路,根据需要决定其数量。这种方式的优点是节省元件。但因为需要进行电路设计,还要设计并制造印制板,以及焊接组装等过程,因此需要较多的人工和时间。
