2003年11月27日,荷兰海军“德泽文·普罗文森”号护卫舰成功试射了“改进型海麻雀”近程肪空导弹。导弹由舰上安装的Mk41垂直发射系统发射,可拦截飞行高度300米、速度为630米/秒的空中目标。该舰前端装有APAR三坐标多功能相控阵雷达,工作在I/J(X)波段,具有搜索和识别目标以及制导功能。雷达对海探测距离75公里,对空探测距离150公里。舰的后端机库上方装行SMART-L三坐标远程搜索雷达。
On November 27, 2003, the Dutch Navy “Dezewven Provensson” frigate successfully tested the “improved sea sparrow” short-range surface-to-air missiles.
