本课题以我国农村教育综合改革的理论与实践为研究对象,系统探讨农村教育发展和教育综合改革与农村社会全面进步的关系。它属于教育宏观决策的应用研究范畴。该研究坚持理论与实践相结合,从总结各地农村教育综合改革的典型经验入手,寻找带规律性的东西,以指导当前和今后的改革实践。努力摆脱“就教育论教育”传统观念的束缚,既从农村教育的角度提出问题,又注意把这些问题放到农村经济社会的大背景下进行研究,是一种在大范围内进行的社会实验,取得了新的进展
