光纤照明是最近几年来一种新兴的照明方式。由于光纤自身所具有的一些独特物理特性，光纤照明被应用在室内装饰照明、局部效果照明、广告牌照明、建筑物室外公共区域的引导性照明、室内外水下照明和建筑物轮廓及立面照明之中，并且已经取得了良好的照明效果。
