今年2月26日,中美知识产权谈判双方代表团经过多轮艰苦努力,终于达成协议,避免了双方的贸易大战。这对两国都有好处。有关谈判的情况,广大读者都很关心。最近,记者采访了国务院知识产权办公会议办公室主任段瑞春,请他介绍中美知识产权谈判前前后后的情况。段瑞春同志回答了记者的有关问题。段瑞春同志同时任国家科委副秘书长,他于1978年考入中国科技大学研究生院学习,后公派赴日本学习工业产权法,是我国知识产权领域中最早期的学者之一。如今,他已成为一位著名的专家,是中美知识产权谈判中方主要谈判代表之一。

He was admitted to the Graduate School of China University of Science and Technology in 1978 and later went to Japan to study the Industrial Property Law. He is one of the earliest scholars in the field of intellectual property in China. Today, he has become a famous expert and one of the major negotiators in the negotiations on Sino-US intellectual property rights.
