本刊记者:您认为当前抗旱节水的新技术、新途径包括哪些内容?山仑:我想强调的有两点,一是在阐明作物抗旱机制的同时运用生物技术、特别是转基因技术培育抗旱节水新品种;二是搞清作物需水规律的基础上运用信息技术及新的工程与农艺技术实施少量水的精确补灌。应当说,前者的前景更为广阔,但后者(半旱地)更为现实可行。经我们建议,“半旱地农业高效用水”内容己分别列入
Journalists: What do you think are the new technologies and new ways to fight drought and water conservation at present? Shan Lun: I would like to emphasize two points. First, we must make use of biotechnology, especially transgenic technology, to cultivate drought relief New varieties of water saving; the second is to understand the laws of crop water use information technology and new engineering and agronomic technology to implement a small amount of water exactly filling. It should be said that the former has a broader prospect, but the latter (semi-dry land) is more realistic and feasible.
