Germany is the first country in the world to establish a social security system with relatively complete legislation. Its origins date back to the German Bismarck of Bismarck in the late 19th century. He enacted the 1889 Disability and Elderly Insurance Act as the first pension insurance law in the world. Pension System: After more than 100 years of evolution and development, Germany finally formed a social insurance system that emphasized that the government, society, employers and individuals should share responsibilities and rights and obligations together. At present, Germany’s pension insurance system consists of three main pillars, namely: statutory pension insurance, corporate pension insurance and private pension insurance. The pensions paid by these three are roughly 70%, 20% and 10%, respectively. In 1997, the statutory pension rate in Germany was 20.3%, which is still at the present level
