肥大细胞作为机体固有免疫系统的一种多功能效应细胞,它在免疫反应等病理和生理过程中的作用已研究得较深入,但是,对于它在中枢神经系统疾病中的作用了解得仍较少。近年研究发现,肥大细胞是多发性硬化以及W ern icke脑病发生、发展过程中的重要因素。多发性硬化是一种以中枢神经系统炎性脱髓鞘为特征的慢性疾病,而W ern icke脑病是与物质代谢紊乱有关的疾病。肥大细胞可能通过其释放的介质,促进神经损伤,加快病程并加重病情。深入研究肥大细胞与这两种疾病的内在关系,并进一步研发针对疾病过程中肥大细胞的药物,将为它们的诊治提供新的方向。
Mast cells, a multifunctional effector cell of the innate immune system of the body, have been studied more deeply in the pathological and physiological processes such as the immune response. However, their role in central nervous system diseases is still poorly understood . Recent studies have found that mast cells is an important factor in the development of multiple sclerosis and W encephalopathy. Multiple sclerosis is a chronic disease characterized by inflammatory demyelination of the central nervous system, which is a disease associated with metabolic disorders. Mast cells may release the mediators, promote nerve damage, speed up the course and aggravate the disease. In-depth study of the relationship between mast cells and these two diseases, and further research and development of drugs targeting mast cells in the disease process will provide a new direction for their diagnosis and treatment.
