四旋翼飞行器又称四旋翼无人直升机,是一种电动驱动、能够垂直起降的、多旋翼式遥控、自主飞行器。它在总体布局形式上属于非共轴式碟形飞行器,与常规旋翼式飞行器相比,其结构更为紧凑,能够产生更大的升力,并且4只旋翼可相互抵消反扭力矩,不需要专门的反扭矩桨。早在1907年,世界上第一架四旋翼飞行器就升上了天空。近年来,随着新型材料、微机电(MEMS)、微惯导(MIMU)以及飞行控制等技术的进步,微小型四旋翼飞行器得到了迅速发展,逐渐成为人们关注的焦点。
