There are two common approaches to selecting textbooks: (1) through in-depth analysis; (2) based on the validity of appearances, such as attractive text layouts, which appear to be sufficient for the needs of the curriculum. However, detailed analysis on a page-by-page basis can take a considerable amount of time. If a textbook is adopted only after a hasty identification and does not prove applicable afterwards, a large amount of money will be wasted. The use of foreign language teaching evaluation form can avoid the above shortcomings. Textbook reviewers can use this table to quickly compare existing textbooks to determine trade-offs. Even if it can not be selected for a teaching environment of teaching materials, at least you can narrow the selection range.
