近年来我国的英语教学的一个突出变化是文化因素越来越受重视。这是因为语言与文化是紧密联系的。语言是文化的一部分,并对文化起着十分重要的作用。从另一方面看,语言又受文化的影响,并且反映文化。理解语言必须了解文化,理解文化必须了解语言。学一门外语不仅要掌握语音、词汇、语法和习语,而且要了解他们如何用语言反映他们的思想、行为、价值观等。本文结合当前社会需求和高职英语教学的特点,探讨了在高职英语教学中培养学生的社会文化能力需要文化导入,从而达到语言最终为交际服务的目的。
In recent years, one prominent change of English teaching in our country is that cultural factors are paid more and more attention. This is because language and culture are closely linked. Language is part of culture and plays a very important role in culture. On the other hand, language is influenced by culture and reflects culture. Understand the language must understand the culture, understanding the culture must understand the language. Learn a foreign language not only to grasp the pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and idioms, but also to understand how they use language to reflect their thoughts, behaviors, values and so on. Based on the current social needs and the characteristics of English teaching in higher vocational colleges, this paper discusses that the cultivation of students’ social and cultural competence in English teaching in higher vocational schools requires the introduction of culture so as to achieve the ultimate goal of language communication services.
