Total sales of medicines sold by prescription in the world pharmaceutical market from 1992 to August 31, 1993 (excluding China and the former Soviet Union) were US$163.4 billion, an increase of more than 8% compared with the previous year of US$141 billion, of which hospitals and pharmacies were separated. Growth of 9% and 7%, which is the first time in years that the world pharmaceutical market has grown at a single digit rate. The United States, as always, has consistently topped global sales, but its share in the global market has not risen. It is still 29% as in the previous year. In the top 10 countries with the largest drug market, the U.S. growth rate is usually ahead of other countries, but in the fiscal year 1993, it only increased by 6%, which is lower than most countries. This interferes with the Clinton administration’s intervention in drug prices and proposes amendments. One measure of social health insurance law is not unrelated. In the second largest market, Japan’s growth rate is lower than the industrial average again
