本螺旋输送机在输送液-固(颗粒状)混合料时可使液体分离出来。输送机有一个槽形简体,在一端有混合料的进口及液体的出口,在另一端有颗粒物料的出口,在筒体中有一根旋转轴,壳体和轴之间安装着螺旋叶片。螺旋的螺距朝着物料的出口端逐渐加大,这样可使输送效率逐渐减小,从而使颗粒相对位置发生变动以利于槽内物料从筒体的一端向另一端移动,及便于液体的返流。筒体的两端,用盖板来密闭。
