矽肺与肺癌有无联系,国际上近年来议论颇多。1972年以来,动物实验证实大白鼠注入游离二氧化矽后发生肺癌者占30%左古,但对照组也有8%;此外,雌性大白鼠占19%而雄性只占2%,而且仓鼠及小鼠都是阴性。二氧化矽与苯并芘一起注入,发生肺癌者可达44%。流行病学调查证实,肺癌患病率最高者是同时吸入多环芳烃的铸造工及冶金工,尤其是吸烟者。单纯吸入矽尘者,肺癌的相对危险度不一定增加。 在矽肺纤维化的基础上可发生瘢痕癌,二者的病灶在一起,属非特异性变化且很罕见。
