2013年7月4日,四川省石棉县后沟因突降暴雨,爆发大规模泥石流,堆积处固体物源直接阻断G108国道,影响楠桠河河道,使楠桠河河床局部抬高,严重威胁石棉县县城5万余人的生命财产安全。文章以后沟泥石流为例,在研究地质灾害形成的地质背景及条件和基本特征的基础上,分析了泥石流的形成机理和破坏模式,提出了后沟泥石流的形成除丰富的松散物源、强降雨和地形地貌外,还与人类工程活动密切相关。后沟内松散物源丰富,必须加强防治,避免泥石流的再次危害。
