内蒙古地震局组建时间短,专业技术量量薄弱,大部份青壮年职工文化知识、专业技术水平低,不适应地震科学研究和监测分析预报工作的需要。为了迅速改变职工队伍的面貌,成功地举办了职工中专班,培养出地震局六分之一的人员,壮大了专业技术队伍,充实和加强了观测量力。 本文以职工中专班为中心,分析论证了职工教育的目的,意义和社会效益。特别是针对在职职工的特点,坚持科学的教育管理方法,使五十名学生在三年的时间里既学到了科学文化知识,又掌握了本岗位职务的基本理论和专业技术,回到岗位后,在监测、科研、预报中发挥了积极作用,在台站建设和观测质量提高上,产生了更直接更明显的效果。
