唾液酸是细胞膜的重要组成部分,与细胞的恶变、癌转移、浸润、失去细胞接触性抑制,细胞粘附性降低及肿瘤抗原性有密切关系。文献报道,某些癌细胞表面负电荷增加,失去接触性抑制进行无限制增殖,并认为癌细胞无正常细胞和细胞之间的粘附作用,致癌细胞易于游离、分散和浸润周围组织,因此,恶性肿瘤患者血清中唾液酸含量比正常人高。我们测定了102例正常儿童,20例急性白血病和42例非肿瘤疾病患者血清中的总唾液酸(Total sialic acid TSA)含量,初步探讨了血清TSA测定对急性白血病的诊断、治疗及预后判断分析的意义。
