在唐代,再也没有哪样材质是像金银一般为世人所狂热追求的了。人们在金银器中投入了大量的时间、精力、喜爱以及信仰,他们相信金银不仅是一种财富,还能带来长生。所以金银器在唐代所带来的狂热是其他事物都不能与之相较的。盒是当前出土金银器中一个重要的种类,而其中又以圆盒、花瓣形盒的出土数量最为庞大。花瓣形盒在材质、工艺、形制上都与圆盒类似,但又比圆盒多出一些女性的优雅妩媚,造型更为灵活多变。
