北魏拓跋鲜卑族在建立政权后,为了巩固政权,维护统治的长期稳定,推行了一系列措施,其中重要的一项即是加强法制建设,使统治法制化。北魏统治者多次修订法令,编制了一部完整的法典--《北魏律》,它上承秦汉法制之传统,下启隋唐律令之先声,在中国法制史上占有重要地位。本文拟探讨北魏法律的特点,期望引起史学界和法学界对北魏法律的研究。拓跋族在力微以前(公元三世纪中期)没有法律,也没有监狱,遇有需要裁决之 Northern Wei Dynasty Tuoba Xian Xian after the establishment of power, in order to consolidate the power and maintain the long-term stability of the ruling, implemented a series of measures, one of the important one is to strengthen the legal system to make the rule of law. The Northern Wei Dynasty rulers repeatedly revised the decree and compiled a complete codex “Northern Wei Law”. It inherits the legal system of the Qin and Han dynasties and starts the prelude to the decree of the Sui and Tang Dynasties. It occupies an important position in the legal history of China. This article intends to explore the characteristics of the Northern Wei Dynasty law, expecting the historians and jurisprudence to study the law of the Northern Wei Dynasty. Before the micro-Tuoba nationality (the mid-third century AD) there is no law, there is no prison, in case of need adjudication
