19世纪初期,英国社会妇女政治同盟为了争取妇女选举权和参政权采取了非常暴力的激进运动方式。她们的行动给以男性为统治者的社会权威带来了相当大的冲击,却以失败告终。直至1918年第一次世界大战结束后,英国部分妇女才取得了选举权。本文通过对领导人艾米琳的家庭及婚姻背景和其参与的社会运动中总结出她的激进思想。从她领导的英国妇女政治同盟运动所采取的激进方式分析她激进的运动策略,并对英国妇女政治同盟运动失败的原因进行分析。
In the early 19th century, the political coalition of women in British society took a very violent and radical movement in the fight for the rights of women to vote and participate in politics. Their actions have brought considerable shock to the social authority of male rulers but have failed. It was not until the end of the First World War in 1918 that some British women had obtained the right to vote. This article summarizes her radical ideas by analyzing the family and marital context of her leader Emily and her involvement in social movements. Analyzed her radical campaign strategy from the radical approach taken by the British Women’s Political League movement she led and analyzed the causes of the failure of the British Women’s Political League movement.
