我院成立于1959年9月,前身经历了江苏省地质局物探队、江苏省地质局地球物理探矿大队、江苏省地质矿产局地球物理化学探矿大队、江苏省工程物理勘察院。经过了五十三年的探索和发展,我院已从建队初期单一开展的物化探找矿工作发展到现代具有物化探找矿、工程物探、测绘、地下管线普查、工程勘察、地理信息系统开发等多技术工种综合性的专业勘察队伍,下辖工程测绘分院、管线探测分院、工程勘察分院、遥感低空探测研究所和信息中心等九个单位。我院现有技术人员总数218人,其中高级职称35人、中级职称
