社会团体的发展,是广大人民群众发扬社会主义民主,参与国家管理的一种形式,是社会文明的表现。正如谢丽娟副市长在《上海市社会团体概览》序中所说的,社会团体集人才、信息于一体,具灵活、超脱之优势。它致力于协作攻关,对外交流、决策咨询和培养人才等。在运用民间力量兴办各类社会公益事业,满足人们日益增长的物质文化生活需求,稳定社会,推动我国社会主义事业协调发展等方面,正发挥着十分重要的作用。
The development of social groups is a form of social civilization that the masses of the people carry forward socialist democracy and participate in state administration. As Vice Mayor Xie Lijuan said in the preface to the “Overview of Shanghai’s Social Groups”, social groups have the advantage of integrating talents and information in a flexible and detached way. It is committed to collaborative research, foreign exchange, decision-making advice and personnel training. China is playing a very important role in using non-governmental forces to set up various public welfare undertakings, to meet people’s growing material and cultural needs, to stabilize the society and to promote the coordinated development of China’s socialist cause.
