直流电工仪器一般采用平衡法来进行测量,其中需要一个高灵敏度的鉴别电流(或电压)有无的装置,这种装置称作指零仪。过去一直以张丝结构指针式和张丝结构光点反射式作为指零仪的传统结构。由于电子技术的发展,出现了用晶体管作放大器的指零仪,它具有灵敏度高、阻尼特性好、过载能力强、耐振以及耗电省等优点。所以指针式、光点反射式检流计将逐渐由晶体管指零仪取而代之。同时,晶体管指零仪的诞生,为携带式直流电工仪器向高精度发展创造了最必要的条件。
