从教30年,脑海里存有许多和学生相处的美好片段,但最让我难忘的还是那次远足。
我带的是学校的宏志班,学生大多是来自周边县市家庭贫困的孩子,他们都是住宿生,一个月才回家一次,平时很少出校门。有一次一个学生周末有事出去,回来时迷路了,他在警察的帮助下才回了学校。正是这次偶然事件让我萌生了一个想法,我要带孩子们走出校园,熟悉周边,了解城市,进而磨砺他们的意志。
去年十月份,在一个秋高气爽的周日,我们终于成行,我们决定徒步去裕西公园。出发之前,除了纪律要求之外,我给同学们还布置了几项任务:记住所走路线,细心观察,用心感受,回来时每人都要写一篇英文日记。同学们就像出笼的小鸟,激动的心情溢于言表,一路上洒满同学们的欢声笑语,来回四个多小时的路途让有些学生的脚上都磨起了泡,但他们没有喊苦叫累,男生还主动帮女生背包拿东西。这次远足不仅达到了预期目的,同学们愉悦了身心,增进了友谊,锻炼了意志,还让我们在教学上有了意外的收获。
几天之后当我们学到八年级上册第8单元How was your school trip? 时,我就围绕学校郊游这一话题,使用学生自己的照片进行了大量口、笔头的训练,学生兴趣极高,参与特别积极。复习动词过去式和相关词语时,通过Guessing game和对话,学生熟练掌握了“Was /Were there... in the park? ” “What did he/she do?” “Did he...?”句型。篇章的学习毫不费力,课文复述和拓展写作水到渠成。等到远足体会交流环节,各小组都迫不及待地要把本组最佳游记和大家分享。这节课学生始终都热情高涨,兴趣不减,表现欲望极强,让我感受到的是学生们内心的愉悦和成功的满足。当然这节课收到了非常好的课堂效果。我觉得这次远足对于学生和我来说都是一次难得的经历和难忘的记忆,让我懂得了当学习成为学生内心的需求时,课堂就会成为我们的乐园,教学就会成为师生共同的享受。(附学生游记一篇)
An Unforgettable Experience
Today it is a beautiful sunny day. I went to Yuxi Park with my classmates and my teacher. Our trip started from our school gate. All of us were excited to go hiking together for the first time. On our way we talked, laughed and sang happily. The streets were very clean. We could see many tall buildings on both sides of the road. We also saw many cars and buses running on the roads. We could hear some birds singing in the trees. The trees were dancing with colorful leaves in the wind. We saw a lot of beautiful flowers in the green grass. The only annoying thing was my new shoes made my feet hurt. The farther I walked, the more uncomfortable I felt. Luckily my classmates helped me a lot. I knew nothing could stop us from going to our destination. When we got to the park, we climbed the hill. On the top of it we had some snacks. We sang songs, told stories and played games. We had a good time there. When we got back to school, it was nearly7:00 in the evening. All of us felt tired but very happy. What an unforgettable trip I had!
