The Port of Shenzhen is situated in the southern part ofthe Pearl River Delta in Guangdong Province,on the eastbank of the sea outlet of the Pearl River,and close to HongKong.Since the SSEZ was officially established in 1980,8port areas of Shekou,Chiwan,Mawan,Dongjiaqtou,Yan-tian,Huangtian Airport,Shayuchong and the river port havebeen developed.By the end of 1991,Shenzhen Port was listedas one of China’s top 10 coastal ports.
