一九八五年九月小平同志《在中国共产党全国代表会议上的讲话》中指出:“这几年生产是上去了,但是资本主义和封建主义的流毒还没有减少到可能的最低限度,……我们再不下大的决心迅速改变这种情况,社会主义的优越性怎么能全面地发挥出来?我们又怎么能充分有效地教育我们的人民和后代”。小平还说:“光靠物质条件、我们的革命和建设都不可能胜利”。本文拟就小平同志的这一思想,针对我国的历史实际,谈谈精神文明建设的重要性。

This article intends to talk about the importance of building spiritual civilization in light of this thinking of Comrade Xiaoping and in light of the historical reality in our country.
