翻译是把一种语言所表达的思维内容用另一种语言表达出来的语言活动。这包含着一个对原文含义的理解逐步深入,对原文含义的表达逐步完善的过程。就英译汉而论,定语从句的翻译既是重点又是难点。文章探讨了拆译法在定语从句翻译中的应用。
Translation is a linguistic activity in which the content of one language is expressed in another language. This contains a gradual deepening of the understanding of the original meaning, the gradual improvement of the original meaning of the expression process. As far as the English-Chinese translation is concerned, the translation of the attributive clause is both an important point and a difficult one. The article discusses the application of demolition method in the translation of attributive clause.
