The authors conducted a prospective, comparative study of the immunogenicity and safety of live attenuated measles vaccine in children and healthy children in Rwanda. The subjects were 518 children aged 8-19 months, of whom 267 were children and 251 were healthy children. One dose of Schwarz measles live attenuated vaccine per person. The inoculation reaction was observed. Blood samples were taken before inoculation and 40 days after inoculation, respectively, and the level of measles antibody was detected by enzyme immunoassay. The results showed that there was a slight reaction after 15% immunization, of which 84% occurred 5 to 12 days after immunization, mainly showing fever, skin rash and Koplik plaque.
