智利小植绥螨(Phytoseiulus Persimilis Athias-Hention)是叶螨的有效天敌。从本世纪六十年代起,世界上许多国家相继从原产地智利及地中海沿岸国家引种此螨防治为害农林、园艺作物的叶螨(特别是应用于温室蔬菜),取得显著效果。1975年蒲蜇龙、李丽英同志到瑞典访问时,将此螨引进广东省昆虫研究所饲养。
Chile Phytoseiuslus Persimilis Athias-Hention is an effective natural enemy of spider mites. Since the 1960s, many countries in the world have succeeded in introducing the spider mites (especially those used in greenhouses) of mulberry trees and horticultural crops from the countries of origin, Chile and the Mediterranean countries, for their remarkable results. In 1975, when Pu Linglong and Li Liying visited Sweden, they introduced the mite into the Guangdong Insect Research Institute.
