滕县人多地少,人均占有粮食485.5公斤,分配之外稍有节余,而油料不足,自七十年代中期以后,由于种种原因,大豆栽培面积急速下降.截止1987年统计,大豆面积由1977年的14.2万亩,降至2.4万亩,致使农户的食用油得不到最低需要.对此,于1985～1987年在鲍沟镇从插种花生发展多熟制入手,做了保粮增油的探讨.
