《记忆》是张弦创作的短篇小说,发表于《人民文学》1979年第3期,曾获1979年全国优秀短篇小说奖。在大多数的中国当代文学史教材中,只要提到这篇作品,往往将它定位为“反思文学”的代表作。《记忆》之所以值得重读,在于这篇篇幅不长的作品蕴含着从情感倾诉转向理智思考的动态过程,有助于我们重新审视从伤痕文学向反思文学过渡的文化根源和主体动因。本文通过对《记忆》终稿及其审稿意见的对照,重新梳理当年复杂的文学现场,加深我们对《记忆》及其同时代作品曲折的传播接受过程的认识与理解。
“Memory” is a short story created by Zhang Xian, published in “People’s Literature” in 1979 the third period, won the 1979 national outstanding short story award. In most of the textbooks on the history of contemporary Chinese literature, as long as it is mentioned in this book, it is often positioned as a masterpiece of “reflective literature.” The reason why “memory” is worth rereading is that this short piece of work contains the dynamic process of shifting from emotional talk to intellectual thinking, which helps us to reexamine the cultural roots and the main motivation of the transition from Scar Literature to Reflective Literature. By comparing the final “memory” and its reviewing opinions, this paper re-combs the complicated literary scene of that year and deepens our understanding and understanding of the process of “memory” and the twists and turns of contemporary works.
