英语学习不仅是一种语言技能的学习,更是对英语文化的学习。在经济全球化和中国和平崛起的大背景下,英语教师必须坚持中国特色社会主义文化发展道路,文化安全和文化捍卫的教育在英语教育中必须得到加强。在英语教育中加强批判性思维能力的培养,对提高大学生的思辨能力,对他们批判性吸收英美文化,对继承和发扬中华优秀文化有着重要的意义。
English learning is not only a study of language skills, but also of English culture. Under the background of economic globalization and the peaceful rise of China, English teachers must adhere to the path of socialist cultural development with Chinese characteristics and the education of cultural security and cultural safeguard must be strengthened in English education. To strengthen the training of critical thinking ability in English education is of great significance to improving students’ ability to think critically, absorbing their Anglo-American culture critically, and inheriting and developing the excellent Chinese culture.
