1940年Weitzener首先用冷冻术治疗宫颈疾患,当时是用二氧化碳雪作为致冷源,此后陆续有报道,但由于冷冻技术和温度不能准确控制,治疗效果也不同。近年来随着工业的发展,冷冻技术进步也较快。致冷源有氧气、二氧化碳、氧化亚氮、氟利昂及液氮等。目前我国已生产液氮冷冻机,冷冻技术很快发展为医学领域中的新疗法,也成为妇科临床工作中的新内容。
