履带起重机(或履带挖掘机)在回转机构紧急制动时,不能由于惯性力和风力的作用使得机器转动,也就是履带与土壤表面之间不能滑移,为此要进行粘着验算。这时履带与土壤表面之间的摩擦力可以阻止机器转动,但它们之间的摩擦系数没有达到运动状态的摩擦系数。而当起重机改向运行时必须克服履带与土壤表面之间的摩擦力,这时由于履带与土壤表面之间存在相对滑动,摩擦系数却达到了运动状态摩擦系数。
