自由基(Free radical)在生物体系中的作用,是当前国内外令人关注而且十分活跃的研究领域。许多生理和病理过程都涉及自由基反应。自由基反应对于一系列生物学过程的正常进行是非常重要的,许多细胞酶的催化作用和电子传递过程都涉及到产生氧自由基的单电子传递。由于氧在需氧器官中普通存在和易接受电子的特性,所以以氧为主的自由基常是细胞自由基反应的中间产物。
The role of Free radical in the biological system is currently a very interesting and active research field at home and abroad. Many physiological and pathological processes involve free radical reactions. Radical reactions are important for the normal progression of a wide range of biological processes. Many of the cellular enzymes catalyze and electron transfer processes involve the production of single electron transport of oxygen radicals. Oxygen-based free radicals are often an intermediate product of cellular free radical reactions due to the common presence and acceptability of electrons in aerobic organs.
