上海外高桥保税区作为目前我国规模最大的保税区,面对中国入世的机遇和挑战,积极构筑面向世界市场的现代物流产业新格局。在未来的十年,这里的国际物流量将达到年均2000万吨,年进出口货值将达400亿美元,从而成为国内最大、亚太地区最具竞争力的现代国际物流基地之一。2001年11月8日,浦东新区政府和外高桥保税区管委会在上海国际会议中心主办了“上海外高桥保税区现代国际物流发展研讨会”,与会者就国际现代物流发展的热点问题和“外高桥物流”的走势进行了探讨。本刊摘要刊登部分政府官员与会者的发言内容,以引起广大读者关注。
As the largest free trade zone in China, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone faces the opportunities and challenges of China’s WTO accession and actively constructs a new pattern of modern logistics industry facing the world market. In the next ten years, the international logistics volume here will reach 20 million tons annually, and the annual import and export value will reach 40 billion U.S. dollars, making it one of the largest and most competitive modern international logistics bases in the Asia Pacific region. On November 8, 2001, the Pudong New Area Government and the Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone Administrative Committee hosted the “Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone Modern International Logistics Development Seminar” at the Shanghai International Convention Center. The participants discussed the hot issues of the international modern logistics development and “Waigaoqiao logistics” trend were discussed. This magazine summarizes the speeches of some government officials and attendees in order to arouse readers’ attention.
